What we collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer the following personal data about you:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address and, where you give it, telephone number and business name.
- Enquiry data: what you tell us in the contact form or a field guide registration, and in emails.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
We collect this from you through website forms and email. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tracking (see the cookie policy).
How we use it
- Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals.
- Arranging discovery calls and providing contracted services.
- Managing client relationships and providing support.
- Sending field guide updates you have registered for.
- Improving our website and keeping it secure.
- Sending marketing only where you have agreed or where the law otherwise permits.
Our lawful bases are: steps taken at your request before entering a contract; performance of a contract; our legitimate interests (for example, maintaining our website and security); and consent, where we ask for it. - Resend, our email delivery provider, to deliver form submissions to our team.
- Cloudflare, our website hosting provider, to deliver the website and keep it secure.
- Our own enquiry-management system, used to run the business.
- Professional advisers and government bodies where legally required.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or approved standard contractual clauses.
